Not only do we invest in our communities, we leverage the support of the WestRock Foundation and our employee volunteer programs. When our team members roll up their sleeves and volunteer our Foundation recognizes their commitment with a grant – it’s our way of thanking them for their commitment to their community.

Whether we’re providing grants to organizations focused on environmental conservation projects or developing a workforce pipeline for our industry, or supporting our team members and causes they care about, we’re building better communities in the regions where we do business.

                          Employee Relief Fund

Our Employee Relief Fund provides financial assistance to team members who suffer hardship due to a natural or man-made disaster. In 2017, when hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria hit communities where we have operations, our team members around the world stepped up to provide more than $560,000 in grants to 270 co-workers. Since its inception in 2005, the Fund has raised more than $1.6 million, primarily through contributions from WestRock team members.
